STATEMENTS

Jewish Voice for Peace Boston believes in justice, equality, and lasting peace for Palestinians and Israelis.  We are part of a global movement to challenge Israeli oppression of Palestinians and the US policies that support it. STATEMENT ON ANTI-ZIONISM AND ANTISEMITISM (10/1/24)

We are committed to anti-Zionism and opposing antisemitism in the context of a liberatory framework. In the piece, we answer the questions: Why do we oppose both antisemitism and Zionism? Why is it NOT antisemitic to oppose Zionism? and Why is it dangerous to equate anti-Zionism with antisemitism? We hope this statement can be a resource for JVBP members, Palestine solidarity activists, journalists, and the wider public.

Jewish Voice for Peace Boston rejects the narrative put forward by Rep. Nothing could be further from the truth.
