This interactive session is designed to look critically at racism in our communities and our nation by examining the roots of white supremacy and how the past impacts our present. Shay Stewart-Bouley is currently the Executive Director of Community Change Inc. , a nearly 50-year- old anti-racism organization based in Boston that organizes and educates for racial equity with a specific focus on working with white people.Shay’s talk is part of the Beacon Hill Friends House Spring Speakers Series, “Working for Racial Justice Today,” in which speakers from our community will look at the history of racism in Boston, New England, and around the world, and what we can do here and now to confront it.
